We Are a Nation of Diversity

We are a nation of diversity,
It's about time we started acting like it,
We are America!

To make it clear I am Canadian, however I follow a lot with American Politics and Culture. I know here we have a whole lot of programs for verity of culture, and races we have here.
I may not know what it maybe like to be an American, but I know the majority religion pretty much rules. Also the thing with the New York Police Department, spying on mulism isn't right, your religion can make you a terroist...but just because you are apart of one religion that made an attack it doesn't make them an auotmantic terroist! Just like being Christain doesn't auotmanicly make you cause a cursade!
It would be nice to see programs, and funderaisier to learn about different cultures ( if you do have that THA TIS AMAZING, please show me it!), where Atheist can share their views with religious...peacefully, where you can learn about African, Indain, or other cultures, a place we can pretty much break down the barrier of sterotyping. With that said, I am NOT, and I repeat NOT sterotyping and saying that ALL Americans aren't embrassing diversity, I am here to propose an idea and learn more about the programs you have etc... Because what I see on the news and a web isn't what I know all Americans are like. I hope I do not offend anyone by this as well...if you see a mistake or want me to add anything feel free to ask!
